Learn who's buying on the East Side and see homes I've sold them.
Nathan & Sally
Nathan and Sally relocated from Charlottesville, Virginia.
These first-time homebuyers came to Providence so Nathan could persue a PhD in Architectural History at Brown. Sally is a graphic designer. I sold them this home in Fox Point, just a short walk to campus. Nathan described the walk to his department as "walking through Candy Land" because of the beautiful sights along the way. When he completed his studies, I sold their home, netting them a $74,000 profit.

$3+ Million private sale on the College Hill
It takes special Realtor skills to orchestrate and negotiate the sale of a property that is not even on the market. I knocked on this homeowner's door and presented a credible scenario of a sale to a prospective cash buyer from out of state. I negotiated an agreeable price for the seller and carefully managed the many details of this large private transaction - - the fourth highest price home sale ever in Providence.
Jessa and Josh
First-time homebuyers, Jessa and Josh relocated to the East Side from Austin, TX. Both are faculty at Brown. I sold them this wonderfully restored bungalow on Rochambeau Ave, east of Hope Street. They enjoy the short walk to Seven Stars and the Farmer's Market. Jessa and Josh were referred to me by a satisfied repeat client who is also on Brown's faculty.
Jodi & Dario
Jodi and Dario relocated from Miami and Vermont. I first worked with them while they were new medical residents, newlyweds and first-time homebuyers. I sold them a condo on the East Side, close to the hospitals and right across the street from where I now live. When their careers pulled them away from RI they hired me to sell their condo.
Update: They're back! I just sold them this home off Blackstone Blvd.
Dow T.
Dow is a two-time Olympic skier from Aspen, CO and the Cayman Islands. While at Brown, he wanted to try real estate investing. I sold him this large single-family home near campus that he could live in while making improvements. When Dow finished his degree, he hired me to sell the house. I found a cash buyer from China and Dow made a six-figure profit.
Barbara & Tom
Relocated from Scarsdale, NY
This retired couple wanted to downsize and be closer to their summer home in Westport, MA. I sold them this historic home on College Hill, just a few doors down from a home I used to own. They appreciated my advice based on my first-hand knowledge of owning a historic home and living on Benefit Street.
Rashelle & Chris
Rashelle and Chris relocated from Massachusetts.
Rashelle is a psychologist and Chris is a medical doctor. When Rashelle found my website, she and Chris were newlyweds and first-time homebuyers. I sold them their first home in the Summit neighborhood and enjoyed watching them raise their two young sons there. When the time came for them to move out of state, they hired me to sell this home.
Marc & Rachel
Marc and Rachel relocated from Baltimore.
Marc is a attorney who works downtown while Rachel manages their homelife and four children. I sold them this East Side home, a short walk from both temple and school. The house needed no work, which was a big plus for this busy family.
Jonathan and Charles
Jonathan and Charles relocated from Virginia.
Freshly retired from academia, Jonathan and Charles wanted to move North. An urban setting was a "must have" and they liked the vibe of a college town. They had visted friends in Providence and found it "just right". I sold them a home with a marvelously large front porch overlooking Brown's campus. They appreciate the home's wonderful flow and the two third-floor rooms that make ideal private offices.
Richard & Kristie
Richard and Kristie relocated from Signal Mountain, TN.
They needed a home that would comfortably accommodate their large family. They also wanted to live in an urban setting like the East Side. Richard liked the short commute to work in Smithfield where he is the Marketing VP at an international fashion eyewear firm.
I sold them this home on Arlington Avenue.
Kate and Casey
This couple relocated from the West Coast and were first-time homebuyers. Kate works for CVS at their corporate headquarters. Casey is a yacht broker. I sold them a home in the Summit neighborhood. When Casey's sister moved to Providence to begin her medical residency, I sold her a great condo at Eastside Commons. Thanks for the referral Casey!
Update: Kate and Casey have moved to be closer to the ocean and hired me to sell this home. They made a nice profit.
Kip and Judith
This family lived in Pasadena, CA and was retiring the following year. They wanted to be closer to their daughter who was graduating from NYU and had settled in NYC. They had never been to Providence and their first visit here was during a blizzard! They were able to see past the snow drifts and liked what they saw. Kip had worked at UCLA and Judith at Cal Tech, so they felt at home in a sophisticated college town like Providence. They sold their home, put their stuff in storage and moved into the Biltmore Hotel. We waited for the perfect house to come on the market. Their new home is near Wayland Square where they enjoy walking to everything.
Michael and Kate
Michael and Kate relocated from Syracuse to join the faculty at Brown. In Syracuse they owned a home built in the 1970s and in a typical suburban neighborhood. In Providence they made a daring change when I sold them this historic home in Fox Point. They enjoy the experience of living in their "new old" home and love being able to walk to work.
David and Dan
David relocated from Harvard University to be Brown's Interim Director at the Watson Institute for International Studies. Dan is an attorney and faculty in International Studies. I helped them purchase this wonderful home, just a short walk to David's Department.
Bruce and Leslie
Bruce and Leslie left their oceanfront home in Newport and moved to the East Side of Providence. They desired a more urban setting with a vibrant off-season lifestyle, while still being close to the ocean for sailing. I sold them this historic home in Fox Point. Bruce is a retired insurance and banking executive and Leslie is a practicing psychoanalyst.
